(Week 1 - 23rd-29th September) A brief investigation into character designs for the good and bad mood characters, exploring shape theory, e.g: good mood character is comprised of mostly smooth edges and curves. while the bad mood character is comprised of predominantly angular shapes.
(Week 1 - 23rd-29th September) A brief investigation into good mood/ high energy facial studies and body language. I believed it was important to produce some investigative work into poses and actions which could convey a high-energy mood. These studies along with the bad mood/low energy studies would then be supported with life studies.
(Week 3 - 5 - 7th-18th October) Final storyboards produced for the bad mood animation. Like the good mood animation, I took the initial storyboards and transferred them to post its, from there gathered feedback, and expanded an ending which reincorporated the image of the cup overshadowing the character, giving the piece a 'book-end'.
