Qualifications
As of July 2022, I have graduated from The University of Edinburgh's School of Design with a Bachelor's degree in Animation following direct entry into the second year of the course, This allowed me a great experience learning of compositing, using software such as Dragonframe and Maya for hand-drawn traditional animation, Stop-frame and 3D animation, I was also afforded the opportunity to further my skills in storyboarding, digital imaging, project pre-production, production and post-production, as well as sound recording and a spot of voice-over.
I also attended the elective course; 'What's up Doc, and introduction to Animation Studies', hosted by Doctor Nichola Dobson, which allowed me a greater appreciation for the academic history and issues related to Animation.
Before this, I studied at the City of Glasgow College, on their Art and Animation course, which provided me with a fundamental understanding of digital imaging through the use of software such as photoshop, After Effects and Illustrator, as well as animating within the two former software examples.
Before this, I studied at Glasgow Clyde's Anniesland Campus for their Art and Design Portfolio course, which offered fundamental skills in Printmaking, photography and mark-making.
